Japanese Superstore Chain Coming To The Boston Area

The company is making its way into Massachusetts for the first time with two new locations.

BROOKLINE, MA — Hashi Market is expanding to the Boston area with two new locations coming soon.

According to the fresh food supermarket and catering store business, it is slated to launch new spots on 1341 Beacon St. in the Coolidge Corner neighborhood of Brookline and 580 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge.

The Cambridge location will reportedly include a Matcha desert shop. The business itself offers fresh fish, sushi, produce, and Japanese groceries.

Hashi Market opened its first store in New York City in 2024 and has since expanded in New York and California. These two new locations will be its first in Massachusetts.
