July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near Brookline

BROOKLINE, MA — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

When: 10:30 p.m.

For decades, Brookline residents have picnicked atop Corey Hill or at Larz Anderson Park to catch a glimpse of the fireworks careening across the sky above the Charles River, although tree growth has made the view a little less perfect in recent years. It's unclear if the fireworks will be visible this year from those two spots.

The other Boston tradition is the Boston Pops concert, which will return this year for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The concert will start at 8 p.m. at Hatch Memorial Shell stage on the Esplanade.
