Multiple Traffic Violations Lead to Arrests Last Week

November 26

10:27 a.m.: Officers observed a grey Sedan drive through a stop sign without stopping at the intersection of Marion and Park Street. The officer pulled the vehicle over on Park Street. The driver stated that she had purchased the vehicle three days earlier and produced a license ad a bill of sales. The officer ran the license, he discovered the driver’s license had been suspended as was non-renewable. The officer arrested Ellen Rudzinski of 9 Lilac Terrace, Roslindale and charged her with operating after suspension and failure to stop for a stop sign.  

1:45 p.m.: While monitoring traffic at Harvard Street and Beacon Street, an officer pulled over a Volkswagen Beetle with a rejection sticker. The officer pulled the driver over on Harvard Street. While the driver’s license came up valid, the inspection was beyond the 60-day grace period for re-inspection. When the officer ran the license came back expired. The driver, Tory Perry-Tsaku of 959 Tremont Street was arrested and charged with operating without a license.

November 27

10:59 a.m.: Officers pulled over a Sedan at the intersection of Marion and Park Street after the officer watched the Sedan improperly pass a car at a stop sign. The officer approached the vehicle and asked the driver for their license and registration. The officer produced a registration, but had no identification of any form. The driver provided his name and social security number verbally. The officer ran the driver’s license and found that his license was expired and non-renewable. The driver, Connor Sheils, 26, of 56 Marshall Street, Brookline and charged him with operating without a license and improper passing.

9:11 p.m.:  Officers observed a vehicle run a red light headed west on West Roxbury Parkway. The officer pulled the driver over and told the driver that they had been pulled over for running the red light. The officer asked the driver for his license, but the driver did not have one. A woman in the passenger seat said that they were in an emergency situation and that she was very sick. She told the officer that the driver was trying to get her to the hospital. The officer reportedly asked the woman three times if she needed an ambulance. The passenger refused each time. The officer then asked to see identification. The driver produced two forms of identification, one of them being a Six Flags seasonal pass, but could not produce any registration. At this time, the officer placed the driver, Marcus Hurt, 26, of 84 Forbes Street, Jamaica Plain, under arrest and charged him with operating after a suspension, failure to stop for a red light and no registration in possession.
