Brookline Vandal Identifed: Person Charged In Temple Vandalism

The police department said the person on camera was identified and charged.

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department announced that it has identified the person who reportedly vandalized a Temple earlier this month.

Seph Rose, 25, was charged with defacing and damaging property Thursday. She was reportedly caught on surveillance footage using a marker to write a sign at Temple Ohabei Shalom on Beacon Street on Monday, July 14.

“You are a shame to Judaism + Jews everywhere. Hashem shames you murderers,” Rose reportedly wrote.
