Awful reports are spreading of the new map app on the new iOS6. Is that going to affect your iPhone use?

The iPhone 5 went on sale today, and reports are that, around the world, lines for the new phone were longer than ever, soaring Apple stock even giving the stock market a boost.
This, after massive online pre-orders.
But there may be — pardon this pun — a worm in the iPhone Apple: all the reports this week of serious problems with the new mapping app that has replaced Google Maps in the new operating system, iOS6, and on the new iPhone5.

Apple has touted the new app as having beautiful new "flyover" maps & turn-by-turn navigation. But in practice, reports say, users are just frustrated at the maps' mistakes, inconsistencies and omissions.
Apple's response? Crowd-sourcing. The Huffington Post FoxNews's story is headlined "Apple On iOS 6 Maps Flubs: This Is Hard, Okay?" Apple is asking users to be patient and help make the user experience better.
