- Possible rain: Looks like it will be a gray day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect a slight chance of snow showers before 9 a.m. and then a chance of rain showers. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 41 degrees. Breezy with gusts as high as 36 miles per hour. A chance of rain and snow before 2 a.m. followed by snow. Accumulation of around an inch possible. Overnight low around 31 degrees.
- Public meetings: The Planning Board is holding a special meeting at 2:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex basement meeting room to interview candidates for assistant planner. The Ways & Means Subcommittee on Vets and Disability is meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall. Ways & Means is meeting 7:30 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall.
- Chinese Calligraphy: Wen-hao Tien, a visual artist and Chinese cultural educator, will present a broad artistic introduction to Chinese characters and calligraphy at 2 p.m. in the Burlington Public Library. A 40-minute hands-on session will follow the presentation. All materials will be provided.
- Storytimes: The Burlington Public Library is offering a two story times today. The first is Toddler Storytime for children 18 to 36 months at 10:30 a.m. followed by Preschool Storytime for children 3 to 6 at 11 a.m.
- Weight Watchers: There will be a Weight Watchers meeting at 5:30 p.m. this evening in the Burlington American Legion. "Come and find help and support on your weight loss journey from your local team at Weight Watchers."
