Ducks, Chickens Escape Raging Massachusetts Barn Fire
The Winchendon Fire Department requested assistance from multiple nearby departments to help put out the intense barn blaze. The barn’s doors and windows had been opened prior to the arrival of first responders, allowing a number of chickens and ducks who resided inside to safely escape.

Arrest Made In Weekend Cambridge Stabbing Incident
Cambridge police, fire, and emergency medical services responded to the Harvard Square scene at approximately 9:15 a.m. to discover a person suffering from multiple stab wounds, who was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. A person was arrested inside the Harvard Square MBTA station.

1 Person Dead After Large House Fire In Needham
The body of a 21-year-old woman was recovered in the debris of the fire after first being considered unaccounted for. Needham Fire Chief Thomas Conroy said there were a total of three people in the home when the blaze broke out, and two managed to escape. Crews responded to the scene at 20 Woodsworth Road just before 6 a.m. to discover heavy smoke and flames emanating from the first, second, and third floors of the home as well as from the roof.
