- Rainy but warm: Looks like a good day to help melt away the snow piles. According to the National Weather Service we can expect rain today, mainly after 11 a.m. High temperature near 54 degrees. Shower likely tonight with a low around 36 degrees.
- Public meetings: The Board of Health is meeting at 7 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall. The Capital Budget Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex basement meeting room. The School Committee is meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room at Burlington High School.
- Storytimes: The Burlington Public Library is offering a three story times today. The first is Toddler Storytime for children 18 to 36 months at 10:130 a.m. followed by Preschool Storytime for children 3 to 6 at 11 a.m. In the evening the library is hosting Pajama Storytime for children 3 to 7 at 7 p.m.
- Origami: The Library is also holding a Burlington Reads 2013 Oragami class for people ages 8 and up, including adults, at 4 p.m. this afternoon. This class is hands-on and led by experienced instructor Gustavo Garcia. Admission is free.
- Blood drive: The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive from 1:30 to 7 p.m. today at the Burlington American Legion, 162 Winn St. Do your part and donate today and give the gift of life.
