- Mostly cloudy: Looks like another gray day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect a slight chance of snow before 10 a.m. and then a slight chance of showers. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a high near 44 degrees. A 40 percent chance of rain and snow tonight. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a low around 32.
- Public meetings: The Ways & Means FY14 Budget Subcommittee is meeting at 8 a.m. in the selectmen executive session meeting room at Town Hall. The Ways & Means DPW/Recreation Subcommittee is meeting at 4:45 p.m. in the second floor of the Town Hall Annex. The Board of Appeals is meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall.
- New career help: The Burlington Public Library is hosting a Career Transition program from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today. This is a networking and workshop dedicated to providing a 'roadmap to re-employment' for transitioning professionals. It is free and all are welcome.
- Wii fun: The Library is also hosting a teen event - Play Wii Games - at 4 p.m. for students in grades 6-12. Come by to play Wii games and show off your skills.
- Square Dancing: Saint Malachy Catholic Church is holding beginner square dancing lessons at 7 p.m. this evening. Experienced dancers also welcome. Fun for singles and couples and it is good exercise. Cost is $7. Click here for more information.
