Burlington Storm Center: Accident Reported, Wires Down

According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Storm Warning is still in effect for the Burlington area until 1 p.m. Friday. Estimated snow accumulation is between 6-10 inches, NWS says.
As the snow tapers off this afternoon, precipiation may turn to rain briefly. The snow/rain will likely end before 7 p.m., NWS says.

The snowy conditions have already caused a number an accident in town, according to scanner and Twitter reports.
A little before 11 a.m. there was an accident at the corner of Winn Street and Cambridge Street.

There was also a report of electrical wires down on Mall Road.
