Missing Child Quickly Found After Being on Wrong School Bus, Vehicle Egged, Door to Home Smashed in and More

The latest entries from the Burlington Police Department for Friday, May 29.

The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Burlington Police Department:

3:03 a.m. - Noise complaint: Caller from Bonacorso Insurance, 83 Cambridge St. described trash removal noise from the dumpster. Trash truck was observed at 120 Cambridge St. prior to call. Republic dumpster empty at both locations. Contact to be made with the company in the morning.

7:33 a.m. - Road hazard: Caller reports multiple large recreation vehicle batteries found across the roadway. Items were removed.

8:25 a.m. - Caller from Marrett Road reports his vehicle was egged overnight. Party left for work prior to officer’s arrival, no damage to vehicle to report.

9:15 a.m. - Caller from Chandler Road reports rear door is broken possible breaking and entering. Officers found rear glass door smashed. Incident appears to be malicious damage.

11:23 a.m. - Manager from Arboretum Way reports a gray sedan with no plates driving around the property. Requesting an officer check on same. Vehicle was gone when police arrived.

2:26 p.m. - Caller from FAA, 12 Executive Park reporting she lost her FAA ID at the Burlington Mall on May 29.

3:21 p.m. - Caller from Fox Hill Elementary School reports missing child, after child was supposed to be on a bus from Pine Glen to Fox Hill for an after school program but never arrived at Fox Hill School. Child was with the owner of another vehicle. Child reports getting on/off the wrong school bus. Child was located at residence on Hill Crest. Checks out OK.

5:05 p.m. - Caller from Del Frisco’s Grille, 92 Middlesex Turnpike, complaining about solicitor. Subject was advised activity is prohibited and escorted out of the roadway.

7:21 p.m. - Caller from Hilltop Drive reports credit cards received in her aunt’s name and she did not apply for them. Also two letters received referencing incomplete applications. Officer advised caller to keep an eye on mail. Detective notified and will investigate.
