Police Logs: Man Arrested for Assault and Battery After Domestic Incident
Burlington Police Department logs for March 17 to 18.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
March 17
- At 2:42 a.m. a Baron Park Lane caller reported a loud party in a neighboring apartment. Police checked the apartment and found four people and advised them to keep quiet. No party ongoing.

- At 8:33 a.m. a caller from Burlington High School reported that two female students caused a disturbance at the school on March 11.
- At 4:16 p.m. a Manor Avenue caller reported her mailbox was struck by a motor vehicle and knocked over. Damage to the post. A blue sedan seen fleeing the area.
- At 4:31 p.m. a South Bedford Street caller reported his estranged wife withdrew $500 from his bank account in Rockford, IL.
- At 6:11 p.m. a caller reported his vehicle was struck while parked at Old Navy and that his wife was inside the vehicle at the time. Caller said a white SUV brushed the driver side mirror.
- At 7:19 p.m. police arrested Shawn Kevin Donovan, 31, of 3 Hallmark Gardens, Apartment 10, Burlington on a charge of assault and battery on a person 60+. Arrest made after a caller reported a domestic incident between son and mother.
March 19
- At 8:06 a.m. a Hampden Avenue caller reported her son attempted to steal gas from her garage. Caller stated that when she told him to put it back he became aggressive and verbally abusive before leaving. Police report states this is an ongoing issue.
- At 10:59 p.m. a Peach Orchard Road caller reported she lost her pit bull. Police assisted in locating the dog and returning it to the owner.
