Police Logs: Man Arrested for Third OUI, Male Teen Steals $270 Jeans
Burlington Police Department logs for April 3 to 5.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
April 3
- At 1:13 a.m. police arrested a Wilmington woman on a warrant from another agency. Arrest made after a motor vehicle stop.
- At 2:04 a.m. a Kimball Towers caller reported a neighbor was playing their television very loud. Police spoke to the neighbor who agreed to turn the TV down. Police also advised them if the noise complaints continue they could face court action.
- At 9:32 a.m. a student at Burlington High School reported their iPad 2 was stolen.
- At 6:10 p.m. a Seven Springs Lane caller reported being a victim of identity fraud. Caller reported his ex wife was using his checking account to pay bills.
- At 7:10 p.m. a Ray Avenue caller reported that her ex husband picked up their kids and had a slight odor of alcohol on his breath. Caller requested a well-being check. No vehicles matching the description seen.

- At 12:08 p.m. a Middlesex Turnpike caller reported someone used her credit card without permission.
- At 1:05 p.m. a Burlington High student reported receiving threatening text messages on her phone while at school.
- At 3:14 p.m. a Best Buy manager reported a female in the ladies room may have items from the store hiding on her person. Two female suspects identified and merchandise returned to the store.
- At 5:33 p.m. a caller reported someone riding a bicycle in the break-down lane on Route 128. Bicyclist gone when police arrived.
April 5
- At 12:58 a.m. police arrested David M. Starkey, 50, of 3 Alcine Lane, Burlington, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under and influence of alcohol (3rd offense).
- At 8:08 a.m. a Cambridge Street caller reported a neighbor was outside her bedroom window beeping his car horn at 6:20 that morning. Caller said this is an ongoing problem.
- At 9:28 a.m. the association principal at Burlington High reported a student's iPad 2 was stolen on March 18.
- At 12:17 p.m. a High Pine Avenue caller reported a male dumping trash under the high tension lines. Man gone when police arrived.
- At 2:03 p.m. a Mill Street caller reported getting a call from a scammer who said that her granddaughter was under arrest in a foreign country and she had to send money to assist.
- At 2:22 p.m. Nordstrom loss prevention reported a white male in his teens stole a $270 pair of jeans and left in a silver Honda with a female. Suspect described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall with short brown hair in his late teens or early twenties.
- At 6:09 p.m. a Lantern Lane caller reported her six-year-old daughter was missing. Police immediately found the child and reunited her with her mother.
- At 8:55 p.m. a Bedford Street caller reported a vehicle drove on her lawn and someone got out and rang her doorbell.
- At 9:17 p.m. a Lord & Taylor caller reported detaining two juvenile female shoplifters who took approximately $300 in clothing. All merchandise recovered and the females were released to their parents.
- At 11:32 p.m. a Tavern in the Square manager reported two people fighting in the parking lot. The manager had broken up the fight and sent both parties on their way before police arrived.
