Police Logs: Two Men Arrested for Assault and Battery, Pedestrian Struck in Hospital Parking Lot
Burlington Police Department logs for Feb. 26 to 27.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Feb. 26
- At 11:44 a.m. a caller from Cambridge Street reported items in the roadway caused two flat tires in their motor vehicle.
- At 12:20 p.m. police arrested two men after a Farms Drive caller reported her boyfriend was attacked by her ex-boyfriend. Police arrested Ronald Poole, 41, 5 Glen Road, Boston, on a charge with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police also arrested Mark Demelo, 38, of 566 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest.
- At 2:39 p.m. a Winn Street caller reported his vehicle was struck by a silver Jeep and that the driver of the other vehicle left the scene of the accident.
- At 3:24 p.m. a Best Buy caller reported a female shoplifter left with $300 headphones.

- At 11:16 a.m. a caller at Lahey Clinic reported a female pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle while crossing the parking lot. The woman as transported to Lahey Clinic's emergency room for sustained injuries.
- At 12:49 p.m. a Cambridge Street caller reported someone stole approximately 20 cartons of cigarettes from the back of his truck while he was making a delivery in a store.
- At 3:33 p.m. a caller in the parking lot of the Burlington Mall reported that when she came out she found a not on her windshield. Caller stated the note was threatening in nature and made reference to a "bumper bully" that she has on her car.
- At 6:52 p.m. a manager at Summerfield Suites reported a guest is stating money was taken from his room.
