Relay for Life Bake Sale Friday, May 8
Fundraiser is for a team of eighth grade girls named "Hope for Humanity," participating in the June 13 Relay for Life event.

On Saturday June 13, Burlington will be holding its annual Relay for Life Event. Relay for Life is a fundraising effort to support the American Cancer Society.
A group of Burlington eighth grade girls have come together to form a fundraising team for this event. This team was formed because each of these girls have had cancer “touch” their lives in some way. They wanted to make a difference in the fight against cancer so they formed this team in hopes of raising as much money as possible. The name of their team is Hope for Humanity. They have created a fundraising page through which you can make donations by clicking here.

To further their fundraising efforts they will be hosting a bake sale on Friday May 8 from 4-6 p.m. at Shaw’s Burlington (180A Cambridge St. in Burlington). Please come out and visit their bake sale as they strive to help such a worthwhile charity. All proceeds from the bake sale will go to their Relay for Life fundraising efforts.
