Telephone Pole Fire Closes Parts of Skilton Lane
Power was shut off in area Tuesday afternoon due to smoking transformer.
The Burlington Fire Department was standing by on Skilton Lane for a telephone pole fire, early Tuesday afternoon, according to Burlington Fire. .
Just after 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, Burlington Cable Access Television News reported Skilton Lane is closed at Patriot Road, as well as at Fox Hill Road.
They were also reporting a transformer is smoking, but not sparking. Power is expected to be shut off in the area.
