Boston By Foot is available from May through October and allows 4 people free admission to the guided walking tour of Boston where you’ll experience Boston's rich architectural and historical heritage. The Institute of Contemporary Art pass allows 2 people a discounted admission. Children 17 and under are always free, so this is a great opportunity for a family to experience contemporary art with access to art, artists, and the creative process.
Passes to all 18 area museums and attractions can be reserved online. Choose “museum passes’ from the right hand list on the library’s website (burlingtonpubliclibrary.org) and select by museum or by date. Read the policy, reserve your pass and then come in and pick it up on the day of your visit. Of course, you can also reserve passes in the library or by calling the Circulation Department at 781 270-1693.

The majority of passes available are funded by the Friends of the Library. If you are not a member, you might consider joining – using the pass program will certainly save you the minimal amount that a year’s membership to the Friends will cost. Also, support of the Friends fundraisers such as the book sale and the May Basket Raffle helps to fund the pass program as well as the Summer Reading program and year round programming for adults and children.
