The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Burlington Police Department.

Tuesday, April 14

8:42 a.m. - Caller reports hitting a very large pothole southbound on Cambridge Street. MassDOT notified of several potholes along Cambridge Street southbound and very large potholes in front of 263 and 271 Cambridge St.

10:27 a.m. - Person in station reporting possible ID theft. Same appears to be a legitimate (by mail )request for information sent by Tufts Medical for information concerning Medicare. No crime or divulging of information has transpired at this time.

11:09 a.m. - Caller from Van De Graaff Drive reporting a wild turkey inside the courtyard in the middle of the building, A-1 responding. Animal appears healthy and is no threat. Reporting party advised.

2:48 p.m. - Wegmans Loss Prevention reports a past larceny by check. Two checks passed in December returned for insufficient funds. Party to be summonsed.

2:49 p.m. - Report of youths throwing rocks at vehicle passing by. They were gone when police arrived. Officers spoke to resident.

3:29 p.m. - Caller from Mohawk Road reports missing three gold chains, a gold cross and a four stone pendant. Same lives with her daughter and has health care workers in the home.

8:39 p.m. - Caller from Angela Circle reports kids running through her yard looking for bikes. Calling party reports a dark colored vehicle and two youths asking about two bikes abandoned in his yard. Police searched the area and was unable to locate the motor vehicle.
