1 Dead, Residents Displaced In Cambridge Apartment Building Fire

CAMBRIDGE, MA — One person is dead and several residents are displaced from their homes after a fire in a 30-unit apartment building on Chester Street in North Cambridge early Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported around 4:38 a.m. and claimed the life of one of the building's residents, officials said. One firefighter was taken to a medical facility for treatment.

It took around 65 firefighters and nine fire engines to battle the flames, officials said.
