Dynamic Japanese Store Arrives In Cambridge
The company offers a variety of products at its locations throughout the world.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — An international brand opened its newest store in Harvard Square this past week.
MUJI, the Japanese lifestyle brand, launched its newest United States location at 48 Brattle St. on Monday, Nov. 24. The company was founded in 1980 selling a large variety of everyday products and has since expanded to have locations in 33 different countries.
Its Cambridge home includes three floors across its nearly 11,500 square feet of space. The store’s ground floor features men’s apparel and travel accessories and luggage. The first floor is the center for women’s apparel as well as health and beauty products. The top floor is the home of furniture, homeware, and cleaning supplies.

“Harvard Square has long been a hub of culture, creativity, and connection,” MUJI USA President Richard Rappaport said in a statement. “We are thrilled to bring MUJI into this community.”
