Arrest Made In Cambridge Shooting Incident
A person has been arrested in connection with the Oct. 6 incident.
CAMBRIDGE, MA — The police department announced that is has made an arrest in connection to an incident in which gunshots were fired on Columbia St. earlier this month.
Hugo Asamoah, 50, of Worcester, has been charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, Intimidation of a Person Involved with a Criminal Proceeding, and Discharge of a Firearm Within 500ft of a Dwelling after the Oct.6 incident in which police responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Clement Morgan Park. There are no known injuries from the incident, while bullet casings were discovered at the scene. The department gave credit to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and her office for helping identify Asamoah and arrest him in Malden.
