Cambridge Parking Restrictions, Snow Removal Continues
Parking is restricted on certain streets so emergency vehicles and public transit may gain access.

CAMBRIDGE, MA – City snow removal work will continue overnight Tuesday, focusing on locations around Cambridge identified by the public works, traffic, police, fire and school departments. Salting and snow removal operations will be done at multiple areas to help widen streets, increase vision at corners and improve access at intersections for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, according to a city announcement.
As of Monday evening, parking remained restricted on certain streets to maintain access for emergency vehicles and public transit. These streets are marked with either "flip-down" metal signs or temporary paper signs that say "TOW ZONE-No Parking Until Further Notice-Traffic Clearance" (See list below).

- Bishop Allen Drive (Norfolk Street to Columbia Street)
- Brattle Street (near Church Street)
- Church Street (Palmer to Brattle)
- Concord Avenue (Huron Avenue to Walden Street)
- Inman Street
- Magazine Street
- Oxford Street
- Pearl Street
- Putnam Ave- (Pearl to Waverly)
- Rindge Avenue (Clay St. to Russell Field)
- Upton Street (North Side)

With warmer temperatures and rain expected for later in the week, residents are asked to clear catch basins to help minimize flooding once the snow starts to melt.
