Cambridge Police Commissioner, Fire Chief Make Good On SB Bet
And the real winner was cancer research.

CAMBRIDGE, MA – Cambridge Police Commissioner Branville Bard went into the Super Bowl confident – so confident, in fact, he accepted a couple of friendly bets with acting Cambridge Fire Chief Gerard Mahoney and Mayor Marc McGovern that his Eagles would come out on top.
A bet's a bet, and Mahoney showed up at the Cambridge Police Station Monday with an Eagles hat and a $100 check in hand for Cops for Kids with Cancer. True to his word, Bard remained humble and gracious in victory, matching Mahoney's donation for the Firefighters Cancer Support Network despite winning the bet.
