Cambridge Police Search For Brattle Square Bank Robber

Cambridge police are actively investigating the area around the Webster Bank in Brattle Square in an effort to find the suspect.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Cambridge Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say robbed a bank Wednesday.

Police responded to Webster Bank in Brattle Square after receiving a report of a bank robbery in process around 1 p.m. and are actively searching the area to gather more information.

Officers say a note was passed to one of the tellers, but no weapons were seen and there have been no reported injuries.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force and Massachusetts State Police are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
