Cambridge Shooting Leaves One Dead

The shooting is now under investigation by multiple entities.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — One person has died after a shooting that occurred late Monday night on Clifton Street.

According to the office of Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan, 21-year-old Angel Nieves was pronounced dead Tuesday at Mount Auburn Hospital after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The incident is now under investigation by Ryan, Cambridge Police, and the State Police. Based on the results of a preliminary investigation, the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident.
