CambridgeSide Gift Card Drive Serves Families Impacted by Cambridge Fire

CAMBRIDGE, MA — CambridgeSide has created a gift card drive to families impacted by the Cambridge fire, kickstarting it with a $10,000 donation.

A press release from the riverside shops states:

This weekend’s Cambridge Fire has created terrible loss of home and belongings for many Cambridge families. Cambridge businesses and residents are teaming together to help those in need. CambridgeSide... has created a gift card drive to benefit the families affected.

Local residents, office workers, partners, businesses, stores and shoppers are encouraged to donate gift cards for necessities, dining, clothing, groceries, toys and other needed items. The gift card drive has now launched and will run through Monday, December 19. Donations will be accepted at the Welcome Center on Level 2. All gift cards will be distributed to the families prior to the holidays. CambridgeSide will jumpstart the drive with a $10,000 donation.
