Coming to The Dance Complex: 2 Post-Presidential Election Dance Performances
Featured Artists include Chicago's The Space Movement Project and CATALYST Artists in Residence Doppelgänger Dance Collective.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Two post-election dance performances are coming to The Dance Complex in Central Square, featuring The Dance Complex’s CATALYSTS Artists in Residence Doppelgänger Dance Collective and the New England premiere of Chicago’s The Space Movement Project.
Organizers wrote in a press release: Believing all art is inherently political, whether overtly or in the context of other works, Dance, Yes We Can: A Post-Presidential Election Performance offers a unique slate of dance companies and choreographers together in repertory over two weekends, November 11-13 and 18-20, at The Dance Complex in The Julie Ince Thompson Theatre, 536 Massachusetts Avenue, Central Square, Cambridge.
“Ideally these performances will not only allow us to take a collective deep breath post-election, but also enjoy companies and dancers that don’t necessarily identify as political, but are doing politically charged work--asking pointed questions about race, identity, art construction and otherness,” Executive Director Peter DiMuro said in the release.
