'Floating, Silent Disco Party' Coming to Cambridge Streets... In February
Tagline: "Take a risk. Make a memory. Dance outside."
The Boston Society of Shenanigans, they of this January's pants-less T ride, are at it again.
This time, the group has plans for a "Floating Silent Disco Dance Party through the heart of Cambridge."
The idea is to get dressed up, sync music, plug in headphones and then dance en masse across town, starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4.

An after party with hot drinks and food at "secret cozy location" will follow.
The "disco" begins outside The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square, facilitated by music piped through the EchoMe real-time music platform.

Admission is free, and the first 40 people get free earmuff headphones, according to SOS Boston.
Still confused? Here's the definition of "floating silent disco dance party" from the SOS Boston Facebook event page:
"A floating silent disco dance party is when a group of people download an epic 60-minute mix, meet up, put on headphones, press play at the same time, and dance around the city together. It's an amazing, synchronous, goofy, loud-on-the-inside, silent-on-the-outside, hour of joy."
