CAMBRIDGE, MA — A federal judge has ruled in favor of Harvard University in the school's battle with President Donald Trump and his administration, according to a report from The New York Times.

Judge Allison Burrough of the U.S. District Court ruled that the government had broken the law by freezing billions of dollars in research funds, claiming the reason for doing so as a way to stop antisemitism at the University.

Harvard argued that the administration’s actions compromised both its First Amendment and due process rights. Harvard is the only University that has sued the administration for its actions, and Trump has reportedly vowed to appeal any ruling against him.
