Holiday Pop-Up Bar 'Miracle' Opens in Cambridge
Miracle on Ninth Street, a Christmas-Hannukah pop-up bar will be open in 50 bars around the world, with three locations in Massachusetts.

CAMBRIDGE, MA - If you've always wanted to have a drink in the North Pole but hate the cold or can't afford airfare, a new pop-up bar in Cambridge could be the answer to your problem.
Miracle on Ninth Street, the annual Christmas-Hannukah pop-up devised by Greg Boehm, Joanna Spiegel, and bartender Nico de Soto of New York City bar Mace is set to return this year with Christmas lights, costumed bartenders and holiday celebrations.
This year, the pop-up bar has expanded to over 50 bars and restaurants around the world including locations in Cambridge, Malden and Worcester.

Miracle at Mystic Station in Malden, MA is hosting a “Dean Martin, Get Nogged, Ugly Sweater, Christmas Karaoke Holiday Extravaganza” party on Dec. 9.
Another Miracle bar will also be open at the Kimpton Marlowe lobby bar in Cambridge, which will be open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily through Dec. 24.

At Miracle in Cambridge, you'll be able to order a Snowball Old Fashioned, (gingerbread bourbon, wormwood bitters, and lemon zest), a Run Run Rudolph (blanco tequila, coffee liqueur, iced hot chocolate, and Mexican spices) or even naughty and nice shots.
Miracle at The Citizen in Worcester will boast much of the same, featuring cocktails like the Christmopolitan (Vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry sauce, rosemary, lime, absinthe mist), the Muletide (Mezcal, amontillado sherry, allspice dram, ginger, lemon) and the Bad Santa (served hot) (Mulled red wine, tawny port, orange liqueur, spices, golden raisins).
The Miracle bar pop-ups feature custom glassware, including Santa mugs and coupe glasses, available for sale at certain locations. In the spirit of the season, 10 percent of glass sales will go toward the charity organization Action Against Hunger.
