Marblehead Police logs: Bike Stolen, Boys Fighting and More

MARBLEHEAD—The following are highlights from the Marblehead Police Department Logs for Monday, Nov. 6 to Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Monday, Nov. 6

  • A Humphrey Street resident reported a bike was stolen from their shed overnight. The bike is a men's black Trek model with thick tires.
  • A Turner Road woman called police after her hip replacement popped out. She was transported to the hospital.
  • A Lee Street resident called police to report a large moving truck was leaking fuel and cuasing a hazardous condition.
  • A Treat Road resident called to anonymously report a dark colored Corvette parked on a neighbors lawn, disturbing the peace.
  • Police responded to Pleasant Street where a car had hit a tree. The driver refused medical treatment and no charges were filed.
  • Police responded to a possible drunk driver on Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Avenue. The reporting party told police they saw a motorist cross over onto the wrong side of the road and driving erratically. Police pulled the car over and gave the driver a verbal warning for not using his lights.
  • Police responded to Village Street for a report of a group of males fighting and swearing. One of the males was place in protective custody then released.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

  • Police responded to a call for help on Naugus Avenue. A 70-year-old man had fallen and started vomiting blood. He was transported to the hospital.
