The Council On Aging and the Office of Workforce Development work together each year to help match local teens who are interested in being hired to shovel with Cambridge seniors and persons with disabilities who need shoveling assistance.

Teens can submit an application listing the neighborhoods where they can shovel, while seniors and persons with disabilities can contact the Cambridge Council On Aging for a list of teens in their neighborhood. From there, the homeowner can contact a teen and negotiate payment and parameters for the shoveling job.
