CAMBRIDGE, MA — President Donald Trump said his administration has reached a deal with Harvard University worth $500 million to fund trade schools, according to a report from CNN.

Trump said his administration is “very close” to having the University pay $500 million and will operate trade schools to teach “AI and engines.”

Earlier this year, Trump froze $2.2 billion in multi-year federal grants and contracts for Harvard University after the school refused to follow a list of demands sent by the administration. A federal judge ruled in favor of Harvard this month saying that Trump broke the law by withholding the funds for retaliatory purposes.
