Warby Parker announces new store opening in Cambridge.

CAMBRIDGE, MA - Popular eyeglass retailer Warby Parker announced today that it will open up a new store in Cambridge this week.
According to a release from the company, the Cambridge Warby Parker location will open at 39 John F. Kennedy Street on Friday, Sept. 29.

In addition to the Cambridge store opening, Warby Parker also announced that it will likely open another store in Boston sometime next year.
The company currently operates 60 retail locations across the country in cities like New York City and Nashville, Tennessee. Locally, they operate stores on Newbury Street and inside the Prudential Center.

As part of the Cambridge opnening, Warby Parker is partnering with CW Pencil Enterprise to create the first-ever Warby Parker Pencil Room.
Custom-designed pencils will be available (four for $2) and all proceeds go to 826 Boston, a nonprofit that helps students aged 6–18 find their inner authors and sharpen their writing skills.
Inside the new store, there are design details reminiscent of a classic library, along with an original mural by Massachusetts-based illustrator and designer Christopher Delorenzo.
To celebrate the new space, Warby will also be offering a pair of exclusive sunglasses for a limited time: Haskell in Striped Pacific with Flash Mirrored Iridescent lenses.
