Worker Electrocuted At Cambridge AT&T Building: DA
Police rushed to the AT&T building on Bent Street Tuesday morning and the worker was taken to the hospital, where he died, officials said.

CAMBRIDGE, MA —A person was shocked to death while working at an AT&T building in Cambridge Tuesday morning, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
Police rushed to the scene on Bent Street at around 8:30 a.m. and the worker—a 44-year-old Sturbridge man—was given CPR at the scene before dying at the hospital, according to officials.
The preliminary investigation suggests that the man was working as a subcontractor at the facility and was working on an emergency lighting conduit when he was electrocuted, officials said.

An investigation has been opened by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Cambridge Police, and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, according to officials.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will also conduct an investigation since the accident took place at a workplace, officials said.
