5 From CT Injured In I-93 Crash In Randolph
Four people were taken to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries, state police said.

RANDOLPH, MA — Five people from Connecticut were injured in a single-vehicle crash along I-93 in Randolph early Friday morning, according to state police.
All five were riding in a van near Route 1 just before 6 a.m. Friday when the van drove off the highway and through a guardrail. State police did not immediately say what may have caused the crash.
An off-duty firefighter saw the crash and was able to offer medical help before all five were taken to Boston Medical Center. Four of the passengers — including two from New Britain, Conn., one from South Windor and one from an unidentified town — were seriously injured.

The fifth passenger, a 30-year-old woman from Vernon, Conn., had minor injuries after the crash, police said.
The five people were traveling together for work, and the van was rented, state police said.
