Summer Concert Series
The Village Shoppes Summer Concert Series continues August 6 with a performance by Downcity, a nine piece swing, rock and R&B band.
Concerts take place Tuesdays from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. next to the Halfway Cafe (rain date is Thursday), according to the Village Shoppes Facebook page.

The Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (Metro LEC which is made up of 43 towns, including Canton, and two sheriff departments) recently participated in a mock child abduction drill in neighboring Norwood.
