In this centenary year of the publication of Joyce's Ulysses find out what all the fuss is about. The lectures will delve into how Ulysses can be read one hundred years on, the importance of the west of Ireland in Joyce's texts, and the songs and stories which inspired the author. We will also discuss how Joyce was in exile himself from Ireland and yet all of his texts gravitate back towards his homeland. With time for questions and answers, these sessions are open to those who come to Joyce for the first time and those who are hoping to return.

May 9: Joyce's Musical Soundscapes
May 23: Far Calls! Patterns of exile in Joyce's texts.
