On Dec 9th residents of Orchard Cove, a Hebrew SeniorLife living community in Canton, finally gave their opening night performance of "Guys and Dolls." More than 35 Orchard Cove residents, with an average age of 87, were involved in the production. Instead of shutting down because of Covid, director and choreographer Aimee Doherty, an award-winning actress, and music director Cici Hunt created a safe environment for rehearsals, following strict health and safety protocols. Rehearsals were conducted online, and when weather and safety permitted, the singing and dancing continued outdoors with smaller, socially-distanced, and masked groups using nearly every part of the Orchard Cove campus.
