• Ex-Stoughton cop decertified for alleged Sandra Birchmore exploitation (patriotledger.com) — State police overseers have permanently revoked ex-Stoughton deputy chief Robert Devine’s certification after finding he lied about his relationship with Sandra Birchmore, who was found dead in her Canton apartment in 2021. The decision, based on years of misconduct findings, bars him from policing in Massachusetts and places his name in a national database that hinders future law enforcement jobs elsewhere.
