A rare painted black and gold leaf trade sign lettered "Joseph Revere” (Paul Revere’s son), from the Revere Family’s Canton casting company’s was discovered in a wall during the renovation of Canton home where the family once lived. The sign will be sold in Amesbury, MA during a two-day Americana auction, Dec. 10 and 11. In addition to the sign the sale will feature several family items including wrought iron calipers, a turned wooden handle, a silk and leather sewing valet, key, an account book for Paul Revere's daughter in law Mary Robbins Revere (1794-1879), four letters between Paul Revere's granddaughters Maria and Elizabeth, Revere Copper Co. tag for Miss "Myria" (Maria) Revere, and addressed envelope to the Rev Robert Rogers (grand son in law of Paul Revere),
