Town Of Canton: Early Voting Available For Special Town Election

The Town Clerk has announced that Early Voting for the December 14th Special Town Election will be available in person at Canton Town Hall, 801 Washington Street, during the following dates and times:

Saturday              December 4th     8 am – 12 pm

Monday               December 6th     8 am – 5 pm

Tuesday               December 7th     8 am – 7 pm

Wednesday         December 8th     8 am – 5 pm

Thursday             December 9th     8 am – 5 pm

Friday                   December 10th   8 am – 1 pm

Town Hall is handicap accessible and will have available an AutoMARK ballot-marking system, designed to provide autonomy to voters who are blind, visually impaired, or have a disability or condition which makes it difficult to traditionally mark a ballot.

Registered voters also have the option to request an early voting ballot through the mail.  Applications are available on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website or at the Town Clerk’s Office.  The deadline to apply for a mail in ballot is 5 pm on Wednesday, December 8th.

Please note, once a voter has cast an early voting ballot, the voter may no longer vote at the polls on Election Day.
