What's Open, Closed in Canton on July 4th

Here's a list of what is open and closed in most states on this Independence Day, Thursday, July 4:

Open (at owner's discretion):

• Retail Stores
• Supermarkets
• Restaurants
• Convenience stores
• Bars/Taverns
• Gyms/Health Centers
• Call ahead before heading to any of the above establishments to confirm they are open. Many retail stores may be operating on a Sunday schedule.

• Banks 
• No Mail Delivery - All U.S post offices are closed.
• State Offices
• Town Hall and municipal offices (also closed Friday, July 5th, will reopen on Monday, July 8th)
  
• Schools (it's summer vacation, but this applies to school offices)
• Canton Public Library (will reopen Monday, July 8th)
  
• Stock Market
• Federal Offices
• Camps (check your summer camp's individual schedule)

No Trash Pickup on July 4th in Canton

Due to the July 4th holiday, trash pickup for Thursday and Friday, July 4 and 5 will be delayed one day.
