5 Things: Spanish Story Time, Campaign Support
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on April 4 in Charlestown.

1. Sunny: Today will be sunny with a high near 51 degrees and a low around 38, according to the National Weather Service.
2. Spanish story time: Join the Charlestown Branch Library (179 Main St.) today at 4 p.m. for a celebration of El Dia de Los Ninos, with stories in Spanish and English and a piñata craft. Children of all ages are welcome.
3. Women for Markey: A group of women supporting Ed Markey’s campaign for U.S. Senate will kick off their efforts today at 6:30 p.m. at 465 Medford St. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/WomenForMarkey.

4. Free art: Admission to the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (100 Northern Ave.) is free to all ages every Thursday from 5-9 p.m.
5. Aquarium lecture: The New England Aquarium (1 Central Wharf) will host a free lecture and book signing today at 7 p.m. Judith S. Weis, Ph.D., professor of biological sciences at Rutgers University, will discuss her book “Do Fish Sleep?” This event is open to the public and is part of the Aquarium’s free lecture series. Events will be held in the Aquarium's Harborside Learning Lab.
