Affordable Options for Acupuncture
The MGH-CHA Wellness Center recommends other sources of acupuncture in and nearby the city.
The MGH-CHA Wellness Center recommends a number of additional acupuncture resources in surrounding communities, many of which offer a sliding scale or discounted services, including:
- Pathways to Wellness – a nonprofit organization committed to providing equal access to high quality holistic care including acupuncture, shiatsu, and Chinese herbs.
- New England School of Acupuncture - NESA clinics are teaching environments where interns treat patients under the direct supervision of experienced and licensed acupuncturists. Patients receive Oriental medical care at affordable prices while also participating in the education and training of future acupuncturists.
- New England Community Acupuncture – A unique clinic with locations in Stoneham and North Andover, offering patients affordable access to complementary medicine.
- Acupuncture Together of Cambridge - member of the Community Acupuncture Network, a nonprofit organization of practitioners, patients, and supporters whose goal is to make acupuncture more affordable and accessible by promoting the practice of offering acupuncture in community settings with a sliding scale ranging within $20-$40 a treatment.
