Charlestown Preservation Society to Host Historic House Tour

History buffs in Charlestown are in for a treat this fall.

The Charlestown Preservation society is set to hold a historic house tour next month, the proceeds of which will help “fund initiatives to preserve Charlestown’s architectural heritage and quality of life,” the CPS announced.

The tour is set for Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include a 50-50 raffle to benefit preservation in Charlestown, as well as a lemonade reception from 4-5 p.m.

Ticket costs are as follows:

  • Charleston Preservation Society members: $23 in advance; $28 day of tour
  • Non-members: $28 in advance; $33 day or tour

Tickets can be purchased at charlestownpreservation.org, or at the following Charlestown-based florists, retailers or real estate offices:

To purchase tickets the day of the tour, visit Memorial Hall at 14 Green St., where the tour will begin and attendees can obtain booklets for the event.
