Cookie Jar Tournament Rolling into Year Two
GoFundMe page is raising money for prizes.

For kids itching to compete in the Kitchen Kup but not yet old enough, plans are in place to host the second annual Cookie Jar roller hockey tournament, and it's looking for a little community help.
Jamie Chambers, who is organizing the fundraising efforts online, hopes to raise $2,500 to cover winners' prizes. In an email to Patch, Chambers said the goal is to raise enough to give $250 gift cards to Cooke's Skate Shop in Wilmington for the winning teams.
Heading into its second year, the Cookie Jar is a peewee version of the popular Kitchen Kup annual inline roller hockey tournament at Eden Street Park. Cookie Jar divisions are split by age, from 5- and 6-year-olds on up to 16, Chambers said. It takes place the weekend of July 30, one week before the Kitchen Kup.
