Flea Market, Bake Sale Coming to Charlestown This Weekend

The Gardens for Charlestown is set to host a garden and bake sale and flea market this weekend.
The event is set to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, with a rain date set for Sunday, Sept. 14. Patrons of the sale and market will have a chance to sort through baked goods, herbs, plants and vintage items for home decor.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the garden, a nonprofit dedicated to educations, beautification and gardening.
The garden is located at the intersection of Bunker Hill and Main streets near Sullivan Square. Street parking is available, and those taking public transportation should take Rte. 93 and 92 from Haymarket Station or Sullivan Square Station, or can walk to the MBTA at Sullivan Square, according to event organizers.
