A member of the Winthrop High School football team has been suspended after a nude photograph of a classmate was shared with some students at the school.
Officials say the student, who is a senior, allegedly snapped an inappropriate photograph of a teammate while in the locker room.

Members of the Winthrop Police Department and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office are investigating the matter at this time.
The investigation involves up to 10 players on the team, according WBZ’s Jim Smith.

No charges have been filed, but they could be handed down at a later time.
Winthrop’s football game against Gloucester on Friday night has been cancelled as a result of the incident. Their practice was scrapped Tuesday night.
