Man Facing Murder Charges In Connection With Revere Shooting

REVERE, MA — A man is due to appear in court Tuesday on murder charges in connection to a fatal daylight shooting in Revere Monday morning.

Andre Tripp, 33, will face a judge Tuesday in Chelsea District Court on a murder charge in connection with the death of a 31-year-old man, according to the Revere Police Department.

On Monday, officers responded to a report of a shooting near 112 Thornton Street, where they found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he did not survive his injuries.

Tripp is facing a murder charge and a charge of possession of a firearm without a license, police said Monday night.

The shooting remains under investigation and no additional information was immediately available.
